Mission

Provide a quality & inclusive club that stresses and develops fundamentals, team play, work ethic, and sportsmanship. Helping the players and team maximize their potential and productivity as a young adults and volleyball players.

The Game

Volleyball is a game that teaches physical and mental skills and while we will maximize these skills, Stumptown will further develop social and emotional advancement on and off the court, through positive teachings and reinforcement. Fostering work ethic and passion for the game of volleyball and life for all involved.

Coaching TEAM development and self responsibility, through encouraging teachings' and various drills within practices and tournaments.

The Team

Learning and playing time is essential to the development of the players and Stumptown as a team. Everyone will receive playing time at tournaments.

Multiple positions and skillsets will be taught to players, enhancing their knowledge and experience of volleyball.

Desire to play and willingness to get better is a big part of Stumptown's environment and philosophy. We are focused on training proper technique that stresses footwork, fundamentals and hard work, through fast pace, high volume reps, academy-style teaching and practicing.
